For 98 years, Mt. Zion AME Church has stood as a place of faith, worship, service, and community in Belle Glade, Florida. Founded by Missouri Vereen, the church has continued to grow through generations of prayer, leadership, and dedication.

Throughout the years, Mt. Zion has been blessed with pastors who have helped guide the church’s spiritual journey, including leaders such as Rev. Jones, whose service contributed to the foundation and legacy we honor today. Each season of leadership has helped shape Mt. Zion into a church rooted in faith, family, and fellowship.

Today, under the leadership of Pastor E. Cooper Jr., Mt. Zion AME Church continues to carry forward its mission of serving God, uplifting the community, and welcoming all who seek a closer walk with Christ.
